The Bernese Mountain Dog catches the eye with its striking colors, its size and its distinguised appearance. The Bernese Mountain Dog can trace its roots back to the arrival of the Romans in Switzerland where they served as herders and guards of livestock. An intelligent dog that quickly assumes the job of family friend and guardian, there is an invisible bond between a Berner and his owner that lasts forever.
We give paramount importance to control of hip and elbow displasia. All of our adults are x-rayed by specialists and evaluated by a national organization dedicated to this problem before they are used for breeding. Located in the Sierra Norte near Madrid Spain, our Berners come from champion blood lines throughout Europe. Our males are available for stud service. We are not comercial breeders - our dogs are our family.
